We are delighted to announce that the brilliant Graham Humphreys will be joining us at HorrorConUK on 11th & 12th May 2024 at Magna! Graham Humphreys is a British illustrator and graphic designer, and is known particularly for his work in the horror genre. He is one of the few contemporary illustrators today that still uses the traditional medium of gouache paint on paper. He gained prominence in the 1980s for his iconic film posters and artwork for horror films, that includes cult classics such as The Evil Dead (1981), A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), and Return of the Living Dead (1985).
Humphreys’ illustrations have graced various promotional materials, including DVD covers, posters, book covers, record covers and private commissions. His posters announce London’s annual FrightFest, HorrorConUK and Manchester’s Weekend of The Dead. Graham’s second book of work A Nightmare on One Sheet, which features almost 150 new paintings, and his first collection, Hung, Drawn & Executed (which includes several of the posters Graham created exclusively for HCUK!), are both are published by Koreropress.com.
Graham will also be designing our limited edition 2024 HorrorConUK commemorative poster (TBA) which will be available to purchase for £15 from Graham’s stand.
