Tony Earnshaw is an author, journalist and broadcaster based in Yorkshire. He is the co-director of Fantastiq – the Festival of Fantasy, Sci-Fi & Horror, hosted by Derby QUAD and was formerly Head of Film Programming at the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television (now National Media Museum) in Bradford.
Tony has written for many well-known magazines including Fangoria, We Belong Dead, Cinema Retro, Diabolique, Hammer Horror, Flicks, Film Review, Impact, Sight & Sound, Little Shoppe of Horrors and Star Wars: The Official Magazine.
His books include Studies in the Horror Film – Tobe Hooper’s Salem’s Lot, Beating the Devil – The Making of Night of the Demon, and An Actor and a Rare One – Peter Cushing as Sherlock Holmes.
