Ticket Terms & Conditions

HorrorConUK Terms and Conditions of Ticket Purchase

Please read the following terms and conditions and ensure you understand them as they are legally enforceable for all ticket purchases.

The ticket is proof of entry to the event or pre-purchased photo or signing opportunity.

Only one ticket is valid per purchased ticket.

The published ticket price for entry to the event or other ticket including photo ops with guests or autograph signing tickets etc., includes all ticketing and payment fees.

Tickets may be exchanged for wristbands or other passes at the event or in the case of photo op or signing tickets will be checked against booking lists and will be submitted on completion of the booked opportunity.

Tickets are not transferable and refunds or exchanges cannot be given unless due to the cancellation or postponement of a HorrorConUK event or in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of HorrorConUK.

If the event is cancelled or postponed for any reason a full refund will be given or tickets to the rebooked event if the ticket holder requests this.

Proof of purchase is required in the case of lost or damaged tickets.

Tickets will be emailed immediately on booking and receipt of payment from the email address: ticketsandorders@horrorconuk.com and if not received you should check your junk mail or spam filter and if still not received please email us at: ticketsandorders@horrorconuk.com

The resale of tickets for more than the retail price is prohibited. HorrorConUK reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold and refuse admission to the event.

Children under the age of 12 are admitted free of charge but must be accompanied by a paying adult and a free child ticket must be downloaded at the time of purchase of the adult ticket. Children/young people aged 12 to 16 may purchase reduced rate child tickets when accompanied by a paying adult.

Proof of age in the case of free children’s tickets may need to be shown.

Children/young people under the age of 18 years are strictly prohibited from any film screenings rated 18.

Promoters of the HorrorConUK show reserve the right to refuse admission or re- entry to any persons for any reason, for example in the case of conduct which is disorderly or unacceptable and similarly to remove any person from the event for any reason deemed unacceptable.

All HorrorConUK guests are advertised as appearing subject to work commitments and no event ticket refunds will be given in case of guest cancellations for any reason. Photo op tickets or signing (autograph) tickets will be refunded in full in the case of guest cancellations.

All event information is correct at the time of publication on the HorrorConUK website and/or social media channels and may be changed without notice should this become necessary.

The Promoter/Venue Owner may use the ticket holder’s image or likeness in any live or recorded video display, photograph or picture and by entering the event you consent to be photographed, filmed or otherwise recorded. Your entry constitutes your consent to such photography, filming or recording for any use in perpetuity in connection with the production of HorrorConUK.

Photographs taken for your own use are allowed but please obtain written permission from the organisers to take audio or video recording during the event. The promoters and organisers of HorrorConUK reserve the right to use any photographs, video or other recordings taken by attendees at HorrorConUK events and which are subsequently uploaded to social media.

HorrorConUK or Magna Science Adventure Centre may cancel, postpone, or interrupt the event due to reasons beyond their control, for example adverse weather, situations deemed as dangerous, etc.

Ticket Holders agree to any bag checks or searches on entry or re-entry to the event for any items prohibited in UK law including but not limited to weapons See Weapons Policy, controlled, dangerous and illegal substances.

The Ticket Holder voluntarily assumes all risk and danger incidental to the event whether occurring prior to, during or subsequent to the actual event, including any death, personal injury, loss, damage or liability.

Personal information e.g. address, email addresses is collected from Ticket purchasers in order to facilitate ticket purchase or other services available. This information is collected and used in accordance with Data Protection law and our Privacy Policy and will not be shared with other parties.

Essential carer tickets may be available subject to providing evidence e.g. qualifying benefits, please email info@horrorconuk.com

Purchasers of tickets who are under 18 years of age need to have parental consent before purchasing tickets and purchasing tickets on our website implies and certifies that the purchaser is at least 18 years old and accepts these terms and conditions.

Tickets are provided by authorised ticket agent Unity Fields on behalf of HorrorConUK.
