Courtney Gains, is an American actor and perhaps most recognized for his role as Malachai in the classic Stephen King horror film Children of the Corn (1984). Throughout his career, Gains has appeared in numerous films and television shows, including Back to the Future (1985), The ‘Burbs (1989), Memphis Belle (1990), Sweet Home Alabama (2002), The Funhouse Massacre (2015) and The Wrath of Becky (2023).  In addition to his film work, Gains appeared in the video games Wing Commander III: Heart of the Tiger, LA Noire and guest-starred on episodes of tv series such as Seinfeld, Monk, In the Heat of the Night, ER, JAG, Nash Bridges, Diagnosis: Murder, Charmed, Alias and My Name is Earl.
