Griffin Dunne, is an American actor, director, and producer. Dunne gained early recognition for his role as Jack Goodman in the Academy Award winning horror classic An American Werewolf in London (1981). He continued to build his acting career with notable roles in films such as Martin Scorsese’s After Hours (1985), Who’s That Girl (1987) with Madonna, and My Girl (1991).   Dunne also played Dr. Vass, opposite Matthew McConaughey, in the Oscar-nominated 2013 film Dallas Buyers Club. Dunne’s TV appearances include Frasier, Saturday Night Live, Alias, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Succession, Better Things & Goliath. In 2018 he joined the cast of This is Us where he starred as Nicky Pearson, until the series concluded in 2022.

Alongside his acting, Dunne has made significant contributions as a director and producer, including works such as The Accidental Husband (2008), Practical Magic (1998), and the documentary Joan Didion: The Center Will Not Hold (2017), which garnered widespread critical acclaim.
